Ezimbuzini Youth Celebration – Soweto (16 June 2023)

On 16 June, the Dare Foundation had the privilege of being part of a very special handout during the Ezimbuzini Youth Celebration in Soweto. Thanks to the generous support of the community, we were able to provide washable sanitary pad packs for 30 young girls.

The day was organized by our friend and pageant queen, Linda Shezi, along with her pageant team. They delivered motivational talks, shared personal stories about overcoming challenges with menstrual health, and even guided the girls through some pageant walks. The celebration concluded with dancing, singing, and plenty of photos, creating a joyful and empowering experience for all involved.

The Dare Foundation is proud to partner with inspiring individuals who make a tangible difference in their communities, and we were honoured to be part of this meaningful day.
