World Prematurity Day – Rahima Moosa Hospital November 2024

For the second year in a row, the Dare Foundation had the privilege of contributing to care packs for the incredible prem mamas at Rahima Moosa Hospital in honour of World Prematurity Day.

These mothers face tremendous challenges as they care for their tiny premature babies in hospital, and we are humbled to play a small part in making their journey a little easier. Our contribution included 50 maternity washable pads – a gift that not only supports them after childbirth but will also last for up to four years, offering comfort and dignity long after they leave the hospital.

The care packs, beautifully put together with newborn clothes and essential items for both baby and mama, were a true labour of love. It was heartwarming to witness the effort and thought that went into making these mothers feel so special on this important day.
